MVT Shine News 52 Happenings
Over the past five months, Sister Khit from MV Lam Thap Church has endured immense hardship. She survived a violent attack that claimed her husband’s life and left her with severe injuries, resulting in the amputation of her arm. Despite this tragedy, her family has experienced the tangible love of Christ through Mission Ventures Thailand (MVT).
Thanks to the generosity of a donor coordinated by Pastor Somkiat, Sister Khit’s children received essential items, including clothing, shoes, school supplies, and scholarships, along with new bed and mattresses that brought comfort and safety. These gifts have reminded the family of God’s unwavering care, rekindling hope and joy in their hearts.
MVT is now planning a livelihood project for Sister Khit to help her provide for her family and regain her confidence. Please pray along with us as we seek God’s wisdom, provision, and blessings to ensure its success, bringing restoration and sustainability to her life.
Prayer Requests from Pastor Supol and team
Amid their grief and challenges, God’s love shines as a source of healing, hope, and assurance for the family, reminding them they are not alone. MVT remains steadfast in supporting Sister Khit and her daughters, trusting in God’s promises to lead them to a brighter future.
All Glory and Praise to God!

MV Phu Khao Kham & Amnat Charoen Churches
Amnat Charoen, North-eastern Thailand
This Christmas, MV Amnat Charoen and MV Phu Khao Kham Churches brought the light of Jesus to their communities through worship, generosity, and the message of salvation. By sharing food, clothing, and gifts with those in need, they reflected the love of Christ in tangible ways.
The outreach united hearts in joy, hope, and faith, celebrating the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of our Saviour who transforms lives by His Grace… Hallelujah!
We pray the seeds of the gospel sown in love will bear good fruit soon for His kingdom.
In these pictures, many children are filled with happiness during this special moment, holding gifts and snacks they received from the Christmas outreach event. This picture reflects a story of sharing and spreading love within the community. An elderly man rides an old motorcycle, kindly taking the children back home with care and his generosity, symbolizing the simplicity of life and the warmth found in this close-knit community.
The atmosphere of this Christmas morning at Little Seeds Community Centre, Dannok, was filled with smiles, warmth, and beautiful friendships. This represents the strong bonds of a simple yet meaningful community.
The good news of Jesus is like small seeds planted in the hearts of these children. Over time, these seeds of faith will grow into strong trees of life, providing them with hope and stability to sustain their lives for eternity.
Proclaiming Jesus Christ in Pak Khat
Pak Khat district, North-eastern Thailand
God led us in proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ at the Christmas event in Pak Khat. The atmosphere was filled with joy, as people of all ages gathered to hear the message of hope and love from Jesus Christ. The event featured songs, teachings of His Word, and a sense of unity within their community.
All Glory and Praise be to God!
When I (Pastor Supol) shared the good news about Jesus, I thank God for His guidance through the power of the Holy Spirit. A woman selling som tam at the back heard about Jesus and opened her heart to welcome Him in with great joy.
After the event, we prayed with the team, believing that God has moved in this district.
He is using us as His instruments to plant a new church in Pak Khat.
Currently there is no church in this region.
Surely, a new church will be established here soon. This is the time when the harvest is ripe, and we, His workers, will gather according to Jesus’ command!
Praise God for His provision through our donors, enabling MVT to bring the love and joy of Christmas to the Maniq people, who lead a nomadic lifestyle in the hills of Phatthalung. We pray that their hearts will come to know Father God, who loves them, as we continue to bless them with food supplies, especially during this Christmas season.
We pray that we will soon have reason to rejoice when the Maniqs respond positively to Christ’s gift of salvation.
Call for MVT to establish New churches!
Renu Nakhon District, Nakhon Phanom Province…
Dong Bang, Bueng Khong Long District,
Bueng Kan Province…
North-eastern Thailand
Recently, we had the opportunity to visit groups of believers alongside the Mekong river, in areas where there are no churches present.
We prayed with them, asking God for an MVT church to be established in each of these places.
At both locations, the believers expressed their desire to be under the care of MV Thailand to assist them in planting a new church. They have committed hearts and strong faith in the vision God has called them to fulfil. What they need are people whom God will send to encourage and support them so they can stand firm in planting these new churches and better serve in their community.
Praise God for this new church planted earlier this year, reaching out into their community with the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ!
We thank God for a great turnout, as about 150 people came to this small church. Pastor Supol delivered the Christmas message. We pray for the seeds of salvation to bear fruit in their lives.
Please continue to uphold in prayer Pastor Samak and his family, also the believers there, as they serve in their community!
Believers in community of Ban Muang celebrated Christmas at MV Ban Muang Church.
Praise God for this opportunity to share the love, joy, and hope of Christmas with the community during this special season.
We thank God for His presence and pray that the message of salvation shared by Pastor Supol will be planted in the hearts of those who do not yet know Him and will bear good fruit for the kingdom.
Please continue to pray for Pastor Samson and his family as they reach out into their community here.
Praise God for another Christmas outreach at this church.
A small group of believers gathered to celebrate the birth of Christ. Please join us in praying for Pastor Somchai and his family as they continue to reach out into their community. Let us also pray for the younger generation that they will be drawn into the fellowship and come together to worship our God.
The MV Church in Wang Sa Mo organised a Christmas outreach event where 77 non-believers came to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. It is a milestone of blessing for this new church, which has been in ministry for only 10 months. Praise the Lord for His guidance and His willing servants!
New MVT church for Nong Bua Lamphu Province planned!
North-eastern Thailand
Pastor Supol had the opportunity to pray for Pastor Supod’s (Shepherd for MV Wang Sa Mo church) son-in-law and their daughter, who have a burden for planting a new church in Nong Bua Lamphu Province.
It is about 2.5 hours away from Wang Sa Mo.
“May the Lord guide and bless this family ministry, to bear much fruit for His kingdom…
Hallelujah!”

MVT Christmas Outreach —

Southern Thailand
Praise God! This Christmas, Mission Ventures Thailand (MVT) had the wonderful opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ’s birth with students in two local schools.
Please continue to join with us in praying that every student who hears and reads about Jesus will one day come to know Him personally and experience His love and salvation through the Good News.
We thank God for this small MVT church…
This Christmas celebration at MV Lam Thap church was an opportunity for members to express their gratitude to God for all He has done through this small church. Despite facing numerous challenges during the year, the brothers and sisters remain steadfast in their faith and ready to bear witness to the glory of God in every way.
God has used Pastor Somkiat and his wife in so many ways and brought them through their family challenges.
“We pray that God will continue to pour out His Holy Spirit on this MVT church family in 2025, resulting in lives being saved and continually transformed in His power. We pray that the church will prosper and be in good health always, thank you in Jesus name…AMEN!”
