MV Thailand Food Relief – Evacuation Centres in Det Udom District,
Ubon-Ratchathani Province

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace and peace to you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Amidst the ongoing conflict along the borders of seven provinces in Thailand, over 200,000 people are displaced. Including many families with young children and the elderly have been forced to flee their homes. These displaced families and individuals are now scattered across various temporary safe zones, particularly in the north-eastern region of the country.
MV Thailand delivered foodstuffs to a temporary shelter for Christian brothers and sisters in one of those affected areas. From what we saw and experienced first-hand, many of them are in urgent need of basic necessities.

Urgently needed items for Relief include:

Dried food / Ready-to-eat meals

Drinking water

Toilet paper

Powdered and carton milk for young children

Diapers for infants and the elderly
We would like to invite all who are willing and able to contribute items or financial support to help our brothers and sisters who are suffering in the aftermath at this difficult time.

Update on Sister Paweenas
Healing, Hope and a New Beginning
Sister Paweenas’ health has significantly improved after undergoing four rounds of chemotherapy. However, she still needs close monitoring for diabetes and high blood pressure. MVT continues to assist with transportation for medical visits, medications, and other daily needs. By God’s grace, she now has a small but meaningful income source. She serves faithfully in the children’s ministry with the Little Seeds Community Centre, for which MVT provides financial support. In addition, MVT receives donated second-hand clothing, and some good-quality items are given to Sister Paweenas to sell at the local evening market. The earnings from these sales help support her personal expenses and daily living.

Her story is a powerful testimony of redemption, healing, and hope and a reminder that God can restore anyone that sets apart their lives for His Glory.
