FLOODING CRISIS in SOUTHERN THAILAND
Showing God’s Love in this Time of Crisis
Many areas in Southern Thailand are now experiencing severe flooding. Homes, roads, and farmlands have been damaged, affecting countless families—especially young children, the elderly, and low-income households who urgently need support.
Mission Ventures Thailand Foundation (MVTF) is actively responding by preparing essential relief items such as:
Clean drinking water
Powdered and carton milk
for young children
Dried food / Ready-to-eat meals
In these challenging moments, when connection gives unique opportunities to demonstrate God’s love in practical and meaningful ways.
When families are suffering, even the simple act of kindness can become a powerful message and blessing of Christ’s compassion in community.
Flood Update – God is with us in Time of Crisis
The Mission Ventures Thailand Foundation team carried out urgent relief work and successfully delivered 200 relief boxes to flood-affected families in Satun, Sadao and Dannok, providing immediate support to households in great need.
Next, our team continued to Phatthalung Province to distribute food to affected families. The journey was challenging—many areas remain deeply flooded, making it impossible for vehicles to pass, and some locations were dangerous due to electrical hazards.
Yet by the grace and guidance of our Lord, our team was still able to reach safe areas and provide assistance to those in need.
In Hat Yai City, the water level remains steady. We invite you to pray that the waters will recede soon and for the safety of all families in this area
Next Step–Restoration by the Grace of God
Preparing for the next phase once the water recedes: restoring lives and communities by the grace of God. Many families are deeply wounded by this disaster—not only through physical loss, but also with the emotional pain and trauma of starting over.
Helping clean and restore damaged homes
Providing basic essential supplies
Offering practical help and caring support
Working alongside families with God’s love and care that only our Lord Jesus Christ gives
In crisis like this, we believe God is giving us an opportunity to be salt and light with hope to those who are discouraged and alone. We will walk together, support one another, and help rebuild lives and the communities with His love.
