Mission Team-LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
Partnering and Serving with MVT
Doi Saket, Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand
We praise God for the students and teachers from Lighthouse Christian College who have partnered with MVT to serve and bless the communities in Doi Saket District.
Over two days, the team has helped to clean and restore two homes which were in very poor condition.
The first home belongs to a man who lost his wife many years ago and has been living alone ever since.
The second home belongs to an elderly woman who suffered a stroke. As a result, she is unable to walk or see. Her only son is doing his best to take care of her.
The Lighthouse Christian College team partnered with MVT to minister at Mae Dok Dang School in Doi Saket
The team led fun games and interactive English lessons. Helped clean the school compound and shared lunch and gift bags with the students. Served fairy bread, donated gardening tools and sports equipment. Bringing much joy to both students and teachers.
In addition to these activities, the team spent time encouraging the children through meaningful conversations, building friendships, and showing God’s love in practical ways.
Their presence created a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the school, and the students were deeply touched by the care and attention they received.
The school leadership expressed heartfelt appreciation for the team’s willingness to serve, the resources they so generously provided, and the positive impact they made on their short visit.
We thank God for the Lighthouse Christian College team and pray that the seeds of love they sowed and planted will continue to bear much fruit in the lives of the children and the entire school community
